The most important thing that we can do for National Volunteer Week, is thank our volunteers. Thank you for answering the call at 2 AM, to help a family in need. Thank your for donating blood, teaching lifesaving skills throughout the community, and for providing emotional support for hundreds of families in crisis, every year.
The American Red Cross is proud of our volunteer history. We know, that without dedicated volunteers who serve with a passion, there would be no 24 hour local disaster relief in the Triangle or emergency communication link for military families.
Please take a moment to express your gratitude for the selfless acts of heroism that our volunteers perform every day.
Thank you Triangle Volunteers! for the many hours, weeks, months and years of service, You rock!!

Thank you to my DATeam Dave, Marchanda, and Scott and our Captain Annette for being trained and ready to do our turn. I really appreciate your committment to our cause. Evelyn
ReplyDeleteI have too many thank you's! Some, with no preference order:
ReplyDelete1. Lu: who helped launch DA-Weather and got me through some rough times!
2. Tracie: who still gets me through rough times (and the list goes on!).
3. Annette/Evelyn: who still put up with me and my (sometimes) aggressive way of doing DAT calls!
4. Erin: who has been very supportive and appreciative of my Meteorology work for IMS/DA.
What a group of people to work with - I am so glad I signed up for the TAC Red Cross.
